In addition to the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (also listed here), Massachusetts is establishing a State Fuel Standard for its fleet that would require 25% of new state fleet purchases to be electric vehicles by 2020. Meeting this goal by 2020 would reach the state fleet target specified in the Action Plan five years ahead of schedule.

Through the Massachusetts Clean Cities Clean Vehicle Project, four CMAQ-funded Program Opportunity Notices for EV-related projects have been opened and received responses. Each will fund up to 80% of the differential cost of conversion for fleets. More information on the program can be found here.
