The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fleet Project allows qualified fleet projects to be eligible for a tax credit of up to 35 percent of certified cost of the fleet project. For this Opportunity Announcement there is approximately $3,000,000 in tax credits available for fleet projects allocated on a first-come, first-served basis during the opportunity period listed on the cover of this announcement. The Opportunity Announcement may end sooner if funds are exhausted before the close date.
Oregon, along with its three fellow West Coast jurisdictions (California, Washington, and British Columbia), have partnered with Clean Cities organizations and other outreach partners to garner private and public fleet “West Coast Electric Fleets” (WCEF) pledges to include 10% ZEVs in fleet purchases. The City of Portland, the City of Ashland, Lane County, and the State of Oregon have all committed to the “West Coast Electric Fleets” pledge.
